Another busy weekend saw us photographing 3 weddings. The first, on Friday, was that of Amy and David at Liverpool Marina.
We started our day photographing the bride and bridesmaids at the brides parents house and then went on to The Royal Standard pub to meet up with ‘the boys’ prior to heading to St Paul’s Church, West Derby for the wedding ceremony.
Liverpool Marina is a wedding venue we visit regularly. At first glance it does not appear to be a great venue for wedding photography, but its location overlooking the marina and river give great opportunities for good photographs.
There were 80 people at the wedding and another 100+ turned up in the evening. The marina was really ‘bussing’ that night! (and the venue made a lot of money behind the bar!)
We left the venue at 9pm and arrived back at our studio at 10pm to start processing the wedding photographs. It was then late to bed and an early rise for our Saturday wedding!
A few pictures from the wedding and a video ‘montage’ can be seen below. (all wedding couples get to select their own 50 pictures with which we create a DVD similar to the one below for them to send to all their guests along with the thank-you cards)
