Wedding Venues in Lancashire
Ashton Memorial - Lancaster, Lancashire
"A very unusual place to get married. Inside is bright, light and impressive. Certainly a place to consider if you want a wedding with a difference. The general public are always close at hand however as the building is in the middle of a public park. There is no bar so you have to organise this yourself and the owners only allow you access to the building 30 minutes before the ceremony"Bartle Hall - Preston, Lancashire
"A lovely stately location"You can view pictures taken at a recent wedding at Bartle Hall HERE
Bolholt Hotel - Bury, Lancashire.
" It's a bit dated, even scruffy in places. Needs some money spending on it to bring it up to standard for what should be the most special day of your life, but it has a cosy, warm, homely atmosphere - so if the location suits, take a look"
Bolton School - Bolton, Lancashire
"A surprising venue. Who wants to get married in a school? But it's actually a very nice place. Plenty of room, spacious gardens and attentive staff. The building itself is very large and there is ample parking. Not the prettiest of rooms to have your reception in but certainly one to consider if the location suits you and you haven't got a huge budget"
Clough Manor - Denshaw
" A contemporary venue up in the hills . The weather has always been dreadful for weddings I have shot but the inside of the building is quite smart and is perfect for a small wedding"You can view pictures from recent weddings at Clough Manor HERE and HERE
Dunkenhalgh Hotel - Blackburn, Lancashire
"Classy Hotel with characterful grounds¦..and a superb spa!"

Eaves Hall - Clitheroe, Lancashire
"Great for photographs, a smart, elegant venue"
Formby Hall Golf Club, Formby, LancashireA modern golfing complex with a hotel that offers wedding facilities. The rooms are clean and attractive and the public areas great for large gatherings. Not much room outside (suprisingly) for wedding photographs - you have to use the practice green and the pathways between golf holes (which really annoys the golfers - he he !) and the service in the bar (shared with the golfers) is very slow as they seem to serve the golf members before wedding guests. But enough of the negatives. The hotel is smart, oozes modern style and the wedding staff great. Not sure how expensive it is, but if it is reasonably priced then definately take a look.

Haigh Hall - Wigan
"An imposing venue in the middle of a country park which remains open to the public during weddings so we have no control who is in the background of your wedding pictures. A lovely staircase looks great in the pictures, but make sure yours is the only wedding. I have shot at the venue many times when two wedding parties were using the building at the same time and everyone wants to use the stairs for pictures! but it's a great location and worth a look"
Inn at Whitewell
A charming venue and great for wedding photography if the weather is good. If not, the pictures have to be taken indoors in the public areas.

Meols Hall - Southport, Lancashire
A unique wedding venue which is part of a private country estate (the owner lives in London - but when she is visiting she doesn't like photographs taking outside the Hall!) The grounds are imense and beautiful which makes this venue a wedding photographers dream.

Singleton Lodge
"Getting a little dated and quite old fashioned, this venue is in the middle of nowhere and caters mainly for local weddings, but it is cosy, friendly and we love photographing wedding here"
Stanley House Hotel - Ribble Valley, Lancashire
"Opened quite recently to a big fanfare due the amount of money it cost to build. It is modern but elegant and has great views and grounds. Make sure you are the only wedding taking place as to cater for 2 is a little cramped"Towneley Hall - Burnley, Lancashire
"A lovely setting for wedding photographers with large, light function rooms and glorious gardens. The grounds and some of the Hall remain open to the public during the wedding so expect members of the public to be in the background of your wedding pictures. Friendly staff (apart from one male security guy) and good value for money. Food can be served in The Stables after the ceremony, which is a great location if the weather is good and people can sit on the terrace, but a little cramped if it is raining."
