"Our aim is to provide creative, artistic wedding photographs with minimal intrusion during the wedding day and to provide a professional service at a competitive price."
Northwest Photography was formed in 1997 by Michael McCann. Already an experienced photographer he realised that digital photography offered many advantages over traditional film photography and so started a company that would produce modern, artistic and creative photographs for wedding couples.
"After each wedding we get feedback from brides and grooms and use this to continually improve our service. The most common testimonial we get is that we don't intrude and get in the way. Our policy is to 'let the day unfold' and capture the atmosphere of the event without being controlling."
"We understand no two weddings are the same, and so we meet with wedding couples twice before the 'big day' to discuss exactly what is required . One of these meetings is usually at the wedding venue a month before the ceremony."
We go to great lengths to ensure our service is personal, friendly and professional and offer services that other photographers just don't provide. e.g. We provide you with 24 umbrellas (12 white and 12 black with no logos that look great in wedding photographs) in case it rains. If we ask the bride to walk on wet grass we provide her with simple white cork wedge wedding shoes so she doesn't ruin her own. It can be a long day for children so we provide lollipops and sweets for them (bribery works every time!) and we even bring along spare cuff-links etc in case any of 'the boys' forget their own. In other words - we look after you !!You get the copyright to your pictures so you don’t have to buy prints and enlargements from us.
You get to see your pictures within 48 hours of the ceremony – we post them to the Internet on a custom-designed web-page.
All artistic manipulation of the images (air-brushing etc) is performed free of charge
We create stunning digital art books (sometimes called coffee-table books or story books) that you yourself design with us, ensuring you get exactly the album you want.
We create for you a fabulous MTV style video using pictures from your wedding set to music. (see our blog for examples)
Our prices are plain and simple with no hidden extras and are openly published here on the site without you having to enquire first.
If you wish, we can ‘webcast’ your wedding live over the internet so that friends and family can view the event ‘as it happens’ from a PC anywhere in the world.
Our initial meeting can be arranged in the convenience of your own home one evening, when we will explain the services we offer, find out about your exact requirements and show you examples of our work. All with no obligation or charge.
