Village Hotel, Whiston

The Village Hotel in Whiston is one of the many wedding venue hotels that for the 'Village Hotels' chain. They are all very similar in layout and all modern and contemporary with health clubs attached.

This Village Hotel is situated in Whiston, Merseyside and is convenient for all those wedding couples who want a Liverpool wedding without being in the city center.

Wedding photographers have to be careful at this venue and very experienced in order to make the most out of what are limited locations within the venue for good wedding photographs. You can see in the examples here and on my my site that most have been shot in 'close up', revealing little of the background.

Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge

The Swan hotel in Newby is a truly great wedding venue. There are so many good venues to get married at in the Lake District, but this is one of the very best.

It has recently undergone a multi-million pound refit, taking it from a country pub with rooms to an up-market wedding and tourist venue with health spa and superb rooms.

Wedding photographers can make use of the lovely riverbank setting, whilst the bright and airy function room make photographing the speeches etc a doddle!

Soulton Hall, Shropshire

Soulton Hall is lovely country house wedding venue near Wem in Shropshire.

The hall has been privately owned for over 450 years and great care has gone into the presentation of the budilding and grounds as a wedding venue.

Wedding photographers are well catered for with beautiful gardens and ample opportunites for great wedding photographs.

Whilst the maximum size of a wedding here is 150, larger weddings can be catered for in a large marquee.

The Linthwaite House Hotel is situated in a beautiful location near Windermere in The Lake District. It is a wedding venue with the most beautiful views - on a sunny day the wedding photographer can really make the most of the best views in the land.

Outdoors is also a small tarn with a lovely summer house, ideal for wedding photographs.

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel, Powys, Wales

The Lake Vyrnwy is a traditional welsh wedding venu situated in Powys on the border of Snowdonia National Park.

A great wedding venue, but one of the most remote locations we ever visit! Worth the trip however as the views are stunning and great for wedding photographers.

The hotel has a pub attached, and a great Spa - so beauty treatments and relaxation are on the menu following the wedding.

As with all wedding venues in Wales, The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel looks much better if the weather is kind, but if you are lucky with the climate this is a great wedding venue.
