"Don't let your wedding photographer ruin your special day......The venue, flowers, cars etc last just for the day...... it is the wedding photographs that will stay with you forever"

Turton Tower - Bolton

Turton Tower is a council run wedding venue in Bolton, Lancashire. It started life as a Peel tower in the 15th century and until recently was used as council offices. It has recently been converted into a museum and wedding venue.

The building itself is very small and not suitable for weddings, but the operators get round this by installing a lovely marquee in the grounds which is used for the wedding breakfast.

Wedding photographers are able to make use of the extensive grounds, so fingers crossed for good weather!

A quirky Lancashire wedding venue this one, and certainly a bit different.

Turton Tower, Chapeltown Road, Turton, Nr. Bolton, BL7 0HG.
