The following terms and conditions form an integral part of any contract between client and Northwest Photography.
Variations must be agreed in writing.
Booking Fee
The Booking fee of £250 secures the time and services of the Photographer for the wedding and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. Cancellation less than 12 weeks before the wedding will result in the payment in full being due. All cancellations must be in writing. Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time.
Payments
Balance fees are due 30 days prior to your wedding day. Payment for deposit and final balance can be made by cheque (payable to Northwest Photography), Bank Transfer (Account Name : Northwest Photography, Account Number : 01459253, Sort Code : 30-14-60) or by Credit/Debit Card via www.paypal.co.uk using email address michael_mccann@lineone.net
Display
It is agreed that the photographers may display any photograph included in this contract in their studio/portfolio
Photographs
All photograph and album sizes are nominal (there may be a slight variation in size). The photographers will provide an accurate colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching, due to anomalous reflectance of some materials.
Colour matching
Some materials may reproduce differently printed, compared to the human eye, all efforts will be made to ensure colour accuracy and therefore colour matching will be deemed correct at our discretion.
Copyright
The 1988 Copyright Act assigns the copyright to the photographers but we specifically allow clients to reproduce any images from their wedding.
Force Majeure
In the event of total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by the photographers, due to any cause beyond their control, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. In the unlikely event of the assigned Photographer being unable to attend your wedding, we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend your wedding on our behalf to undertake the wedding photography to his/her best ability.
Cancellation
Should the client wish to cancel this contract at any time, notice must be given in writing to the photographers. The following sums will be due: notice given less than 16 weeks prior to the wedding the client should pay the photographers a sum equal to 50% of the balance due. Notice given less than 12 weeks prior to the wedding 100% of the balance due.
