This weekend saw us back at one of favourite and popular wedding venues, Mere Court Hotel in Knutsford, Cheshire for the wedding of Drew and Helen Kirkup.
The day started in style with Drew arriving in a black Ferrari to join his best men and ‘the boys’ for a quick drink in the bar before the wedding celebration.
Helen had a slight panic just before the ceremony when several beads on her dress came off as she put on her dress. My assistant came to the rescue with needle and thread and sewed them back on for her. We carry essential ‘spares’ with us to every wedding – from a sewing kit, spare wedding shoes (in sizes 4 – 8), cuff-links to the more obvious items like umbrellas. We feel it is our job not only to tke the photographs but also to look afer the bride and groom in any way we can!
The rest of the day went without a hitch – even the rain stopped just in time for us take the outdoor wedding pictures.
Helen and Drews family and friends made us feel so welcome during the day…thank you! and the hotel once again showed why it is one of the best in Cheshire with impeccable service. We are back there again several times before the end of the year, so look forward to seeing all the staff again soon.
