Our Favourite Wedding Photography Venues – Sandhole Oak Barn

A purpose built Oak Barn located just outside Congleton in Cheshire and next to a large lake make this a glamourous venue for those couples with a larger budget. What makes this place worth every penny is the professionalism of the owner David Worth. At no other venue do I see the owner present at every wedding, making sure everything is just perfect. The barn is located next to a courtyard surrounded by rooms that can be booked by guests. If the weather is good this place is perfection – and there is now custom-landscaped area in front of the barn which offers a lovely backdrop for wedding photographs. This venue is a wedding photographers dream with a stunning lake, a large terrace and even a flood-lit tree for romantic evening shots. We highly recommend the caterers ‘top table’ at this venue – they are professional, friendly and always deliver fantastic food!
