Last weekend we were at the lovely Sandhole Oak Wedding Barn in Cheshire, just north of Congleton. Regular visitors to this blog will know that we visit this venue many times each year and that it is one of our favourite wedding venues in Cheshire.
We had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Paul – and the weather fantastic……. for the bride and groom! (us wedding photographers dont really like bright sunshine, as people end up squinting or being photographed in harsh shadows)
We started by photographing the groom having a quick 'pre-wedding' drink across the road at the great Waggon and Horses public house, which was already decorated for a halloween party.
The wedding ceremony went without a hitch and everyone retired outdoors for a glass of champagne afterwards to enjoy the sunshine. The bride even went to visit the tame goats, that are one of the attractions of the venue, to have some photographs taken.
It was a lovely wedding (as usual at this great venue) and we were made to feel very welcome at Helen and Paul's special day – thank you!
A few pictures from the wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn can be seen below.
